The available 6.2-liter V8 engine delivers a robust 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. For optimal low-end torque and exciting acceleration, go with the available 3.0-liter Duramax® turbo diesel I6, which generates 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque.

All three engines pair with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive comes standard, while four-wheel drive is available for customers who want optimal traction. When properly equipped, the Chevy Suburban can tow up to 8,300 pounds.
