If sensors detect you are approaching&nbsp;another vehicle too quickly, the Forward Collision&nbsp;Alert system chimes and visual signals help alert you to the danger. All Equinox^&reg; models feature a smooth-shifting 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive and electronic range select.

Always know your tires are properly inflated with the Tire Pressure Monitoring System. A warning light is triggered on your dash when tire pressure falls below the recommended amount. The actual pressure of each tire can also be viewed in the standard Driver Information Center. This system does not monitor the spare tire.
